Glamorous
(Fergie)

If you aint got no money take yo´broke ass home
You say: If you aint got no money take yo´broke ass home
G-L-A-M-O-R-O-U-S, yeah G-L-A-M-O-R-O-U-S

We flying the first class
Up in the sky
Poppin´ champagne

Livin´ my life
In the fast lane
And I wont change
For the glamorous, oh the flossy flossy

The glamorous,
The glamorous, glamorous (the glamorous life)
For the glamorous, oh the flossy flossy

Wear them gold and diamonds rings
All them things dont mean a thing
Chaperons and limousines
Shopping for expensive things
I be on the moovie screens
Magazines and boogie scenes
Im not clean, Im not pristine
Im n queen, Im no machine
I still go to Taco Bell
Drivethrough, raw as Hell
I dont care, Im still real
No matter how many records I sell
After the show or after the grammys
I like to go cool out with the family
Sippin´, reminscing on days when I had a Mustang
And now I´m in...

Im talking Champagne wishes, caviar dreams
You deserve nothing but all the finer things
Now this whole world has no clue to do with us
I´ve got enough money in the bank for the two of us
Brother gotta keep enough lettuce
To support your shoe fetish
Lifestyles so rich and famous
Robin Leach will get jelous
Half a million for the stones
Takin trips from here to Rome
So If you aint got no money take yo´broke ass home
G-L-A-M-O-R-O-U-S, yeah G-L-A-M-O-R-O-U-S

I got problems up to here
I´ve got people in my ear
Telling me these crazy things
That I dont want to know (fuck y´all)
I´ve got money in the bank
And I´d really like to thank
All the fans, I´d like to thank
Thank you really though
Cuz i remember yesterday
When I dreamt about the days
When I´d rock on MTV, that be really dope
Damn, It´s been a long road
And the industry is cold
I´m glad my daddy told me so, he let his daugther know. [x3]

One more poem

The Look

by Sara Teasdale

Strephon kissed me in the spring,
Robin in the fall,
But Colin only looked at me
And never kissed at all.

Strephon's kiss was lost in jest,
Robin's lost in play,
But the kiss in Colin's eyes
Haunts me night and day.

I love this poem, it's so beautiful! =)

Peotry

To Earthward

by Robert Frost

Love at the lips was touch
As sweet as I could bear;
And once that seemed too much;
I lived on air

That crossed me from sweet things,
The flow of--was it musk
From hidden grapevine springs
Downhill at dusk?

I had the swirl and ache
From sprays of honeysuckle
That when they're gathered shake
Dew on the knuckle.

I craved strong sweets, but those
Seemed strong when I was young;
The petal of the rose
It was that stung.

Now no joy but lacks salt,
That is not dashed with pain
And weariness and fault;
I crave the stain

Of tears, the aftermark
Of almost too much love,
The sweet of bitter bark
And burning clove.

When stiff and sore and scarred
I take away my hand
From leaning on it hard
In grass and sand,

The hurt is not enough:
I long for weight and strength
To feel the earth as rough
To all my length.

Book Summary: The Stolen White Elephant

By Mark Twain

This story was told by a traveler to an old man. The old man said that in the Kingdom of Siam only kings could have a white elephant. When this kingdom had a border problem with Great Britain the king of Siam decided to send a white elephant to gift the queen of Great Britain. The old man who was an official of the kingdom was in charge of taking the elephant.

The ship was stopped because the animal was sick, but the elephant was stolen. The old man went to New York to seek police help. Inspector Blunt decided to investigate the case carefully because this wasn’t a common case.

He noted the features of the elephant, his habits of eating men and bibles. And he said that a reward was offered and ordered his assistant to publish notice of the theft. Detectives and police men were sent in various directions to investigate.

Soon arrived some theories about the theft, names of suspects and statements of direction to where they would have taken the elephant.

The inspector suspected of two famous criminals: "Brick" Daffy and "Red" McFadden.

By passing the elephant, it killed men and destroyed everything. The elephant was hit by a shot at one of the cities where it was and ran to black fog.

Then it took three weeks without news. The inspector said that the reward was increased. That was good because as soon one of the detectives sent a message that had the elephant.

Inspector Blunt wanted to personally negotiate with the thieves and arranged a meeting with them to make a deal.

The elephant was recovered, but was dead. When it fled wounded and hid himself, died of hunger.

The inspector Blunt was successful in investigating and won admiration of all but the old man lost the reward money and the office employee of the Kingdom of Siam.

Straight Hair Makes a Comeback

Ever since flat irons came around,we just haven’t been able to put them down, much less do anything to our hair without them. It’s not wonder then that the sleek, poker-straight hair style is still around after all these years and it’s going to make a huge splash in the fall. So take out your blowdryer and your flatiron and start the straightening process!

Now I know this news sucks for those of you with thick, curly hair as it takes hours to blowdry and straighten, but if you’ve got the time, go for it! Just remember to apply a straightening balm to wet strands before blowdrying to prevent friziness and help with the straightening process.

For those with straight or wavy hair, straightening is pretty straight-forward. Start off by applying a serum to wet hair, running your fingers through your hair about mid-way all the way to the ends. Make sure you don’t apply any product directly to the roots or right at the front since this can weigh your hair down and make it look flat and limp.
When trying to blowdry your hair straight, start off with a flat brush and divide each hair into sections. Run the flat brush from inside and start off about mid-length going all the way down while holding the blowdryer nozzle downwards to prevent friziness. Once you hair is about 60% dry, take a round brush and do the same thing, starting mid-length and pulling down.
Once your hair has dried, divide your hair into sections again and start ironing. Finish off with a very light hairspray to make sure the hair stays in place or use an anti-humidity spray for those hot, humid days.

How to Wear Jeggings

• With the return of super skinny jeans and leggings this past couple of years, it’s no wonder the jeggings were invented. Jeggings are basically an exremely skinny jeans that look like leggings and are also weared like leggings.
I have to say that in the beginning I was not a fan of the skinny jean or the legging, but as time went on, I came to embrace both, and now, it seems like I can’t even wear any other types of jeans but skinny. The problem with these slim types of bottoms is that they’re hard to dress. And jeggings especially, can be a little tricky.

A Few Thumb Rules

First off, make sure jeggings suit your body type. If you don’t feel comfortable in them, don’t wear them – no one’s going to shun you for it!! Second, pick a dark pair that will go with everything from a basic tank to a sweater dress. Also, black slims you down so that’s always a plus. If you’re on the short side, you may want to get a petite pair as a regular pair of jeggings might run a little too long, and there’s nothing worse than 2 feet of bunched up jeans at the bottom.
So What Exactly Can You Wear Jeggings With?

Jeggings are actually quite versatile, and I feel they do a better job than skinny jeans or leggings would. Because they’re still denim material, you don’t have to cover your butt, but they’re so slim and skin-tight like leggings that you can wear a long sweater or tee, a dress, or just throw a long cardigan over.
I love wearing leggings with a pair of chunky heels, a long sweater and a scarf. Add a big tote to that, and you’re set for the day. So if you’re heading to the mall this week, make sure to pick up a pair of jeggings: it’s all you’ll need!

I really like this kind of clothes!

Crazy and Saints

By Oscar Wilde

"I choose my friends not by their skin or other archetype, but by the pupil. They have to have questioning shine and unsettled tone. I'm not interested in the good spirits or the ones with bad habits. I'll stick with the ones that are made of me being crazy and blessed. From them, I don't want an answer, I want to be reviewed. I want them to bring me doubts and fears and to tolerate the worst of me. But that only being crazy. I want saints, so they dount doubt differences and ask for forgiveness for injustices. I choose my friends for their clean face and their soul exposed. I don't just want a man or a skirt, I also want his greatest happiness. A friend that doesn't laugh together doesn't know how to cry together. All my friends are like that, half foolish, half serious. I don't want forseen laughter or cries full of pity. I want serious friends, those that make reality their fountain of knowledge, but that fight to keep fantasy alive. I don't want adult or boring friends. I want half kids and half elderly. Kids, so they don't forget the value of the wind blowing on their faces and elderly people so they're never in a hurry. I have friends to know who I am. Then seeing them as clowns and serious, crazy and saints, young and old, I will never forget that 'normalcy' is a steril and imbecil illusion."
